But, how do you achieve and maintain that perfect brow look?  Let’s explore some of the best brow-shaping techniques available today.

Tweezing

Tweezing in one form or another has been around a long time.

PROs
– Probably the easiest method for at-home hair removal, it only requires a pair of tweezers and lots of patience.
– Tweezing removes the entire hair follicle from the root which will ensure about six weeks before plucking is required again.
– Daily brow maintenance can prolong your brow shape, giving you more time between full brow shaping sessions.

CONs
– Only taking one or two hairs at a time, tweezing can be very time-consuming and not leave a clean brow line.
– Removing the hair follicle from the root can damage the hair follicle after an extended period of time, causing less hair to come in.

Waxing

Waxing is a very common form of brow shaping.

PROs
– Options are available for at-home waxing for even the newest brow shaper.
– Waxing services are widely available and can be fairly cost effective.
– Waxing is quick and can leave very clean brow lines.
– Waxing removes fine or really light hairs.
– Waxing removes the entire hair follicle from the root which will ensure about six weeks before plucking is required again.

CONs
– Waxing can be painful, putting your skin at risk of irritation or being burned.
– If not done properly, sticky residue can be left behind.
– Removing the hair follicle from the root can damage the hair follicle after an extended period of time, causing less hair to come in.
– Small errors can cause big disasters.

Threading

Threading is an ancient method of brow shaping that still has many benefits.

PROs
– Threading is less damaging to skin than waxing.
– A quick way to remove lines of hair, it is faster than waxing or tweezing.
– Threading is a very accurate way to shape brows.
– Threading removes the entire hair follicle from the root which will ensure about six weeks before plucking is required again.

CONs
– Threading is not as common as waxing or tweezing, so it might be harder to find this service.
– Threading is tricky and requires practice and instruction to do correctly.
– Removing the hair follicle from the root can damage the hair follicle after an extended period of time, causing less hair to come in.

Whether you like to thread, tweeze, wax, or do a combination of methods, we are there for you with neuBROW brow enhancing serum®, giving you the freedom to choose the shaping method and brow shape that works for you.
